Children are taught three languages in the primary classes. We allow our children to choose their option in class VIII so as to get ample time to master the language opted for AISSE. Children are advised to pursue the language they are comfortable with.
Supplementary Subjects
In addition to the core subjects in the curriculum, school offers the following three additional subjects for the holistic development of students:
A. COMPUTER SCIENCE (CS)
Exposure to the basics of computer science is ensured as early as class I. It enables improved classroom experience in using educational software often presented in game-like format and power point presentations. Senior classes receive more advanced computer training designed to equip them with better preparedness to integrate technology as a key means of higher education.
B. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (GK)
Regular sessions on widening GK are offered to enable children to develop as global citizens. Our GK vision encompasses analytical and critical thinking, language, public policy, topical issues in science, geography, history and other subjects, wider range of cultural perspectives in an increasingly interconnected world, sustainability, climate change and conflict resolution to name a few.
C. VALUE EDUCATION (VE)/LIFE SKILLS (LS)
Value Education aimed at making children awakened citizens with values of peace, compassion, harmony, humility and cooperation is imparted as a supplementary subject.
